Simpkins-Dellis Insurance Agency, Inc. is a locally-owned, third-generation family business in Kettering, Ohio. The business was started in 1944 by Leo Dellis. Leo sold insurance policies out of his home while working full-time at Delco. He believed in the importance of insurance and helped many Delco employees along the way. His son, David Dellis, joined the family business in 1967 after serving in the Air Force.

David Dellis believed that people should have reliable insurance coverage at affordable rates. He also believed in giving back to the Kettering community. David was a large supporter of Kettering Fairmont High School, a volunteer Kettering firefighter, and the past President of the FOPA. He retired in 2001.

About Our Owner, Felicia

In 1990, David’s daughter Felicia joined the family business. Felicia is a 1985 Kettering Fairmont High School graduate who attended & graduated from Brigham Young University. Felicia is a percussionist and plays in the Miami Valley Symphony Orchestra in her spare time. She believes in giving back to the community and donates to Kettering Fairmont High School band among other needs in the community that are near and dear to her heart. Felicia has a son, Micah, who attends Stivers School for the Arts. They have 2 dogs, a Boxer/Beagle mix as well as a Newfoundland/Golden Retriever mix. Felicia manages the business today.
